London's gateway to the Eurostar. A grand Victorian station with surprisingly good restaurants, easy transport links, and a champagne bar.
St Pancras International sits in central London at the junction of Euston Road and Midland Road, right next to King's Cross station. It's one of the best-connected stations in the city.
The Eurostar departure area is on the upper level (first floor) of St Pancras. Look for the clearly signed Eurostar check-in area. The process: ticket scan → border control → security → departure lounge. Allow 60–90 minutes before your train.
Check-in opens 90 minutes before departure and closes 30 minutes before. Business Premier passengers can check in up to 10 minutes before departure.
St Pancras has excellent food and retail options on the main concourse (before you enter the Eurostar area):
Once through security and border control, you enter the Eurostar departure lounge. It's spacious with plenty of seating, a café, and a duty-free shop. There are toilets, charging points, and departure screens showing your platform and boarding time.
Business Premier passengers have access to a separate private lounge with complimentary food, drinks (including champagne), newspapers, and a quieter environment. See our Lounge Access guide for details.
Boarding is announced on screens and over the PA system, typically 20–30 minutes before departure. Platforms are accessed directly from the departure lounge — just walk down to the platform level and find your coach number. Coaches are clearly marked.
If you want to explore London before your train, Excess Baggage Company operates a left luggage service in the station. Prices start at about £12.50 per item per day.
