Departing from Brussels-Midi

Eurostar services depart from the dedicated international section of Brussels-Midi (Bruxelles-Zuid / Brussels South). The Eurostar check-in area is clearly signed within the station.

Arrive at least 60 minutes before departure. The process is the same as at other Eurostar stations: ticket scan, Belgian exit immigration, UK entry immigration, then security.

Border Control

UK border officers are stationed at Brussels-Midi. You clear UK immigration before boarding, so when you arrive at St Pancras you walk straight out. The Belgian exit check is typically very quick; the UK entry check is the longer step.

🔗 Connecting from Elsewhere in Belgium?

If you're coming from Bruges, Ghent, or Antwerp, take a Belgian domestic train to Brussels-Midi and allow plenty of time for the connection. Eurostar check-in closes 30 minutes before departure, and you'll need to get from the domestic platforms to the Eurostar section, which takes 5–10 minutes plus time for border control and security.

Arriving at St Pancras

No further immigration checks on arrival. Walk off the train, through the station, and into London. The Tube, buses, and taxis are right there. See our St Pancras guide for details.

Where to book Brussels → London

Return journeys from Brussels-Midi can be booked via Eurostar directly or through Trainline. Trainline is often easier for travellers arriving in Brussels from elsewhere in continental Europe who want a single connected itinerary.
